Posted: 06 Jun 2008 Hi All, At the end of June I'm going camping for a long weekend at Wainlode Cliff (West of Cheltenham). Does anyone know if there is good reptile population in that immediate area? I'd like to get some photos while I'm there, but I don't really know the area, and time will be at a bit of a premium for lengthy searching. I understand that you prefer not to give exact locations on the open forum, so perhaps if someones can help me out, they could PM me? Thanks in advance. James. |

Posted: 07 Jun 2008 Hi James, I don't know the area, but when I'm away around the UK, I usually drop the local ARG a line, they are usually happy to meet up, or pass on some information. List of ARGs Other options are Countryside rangers etc. Steve Langham - Chairman

[/QUOTE]Agreed !...Virtual Earth is better, as it has the 'Bird's eye' function for low level APs in places. Its still not good enough for you to determine reptile habitat without a ground survey, but it definitely narrows the options. Steve Langham - Chairman
